About Atlas Funded

Atlas Funded is a forex prop firm founded in 2024, based in Saint Lucia. It sells 5 programs — 1-Step, 2-Step, Instant Zero, Instant Funded and Access — with accounts from $5K to $400K and prices from $43. You trade on MT5, TradeLocker and Match-Trader. Funded traders keep up to 90% of profits, paid on demand by Rise and crypto.

Our verdict

“Suits forex traders who want a high base split and a low-cost Access entry and can work within the funded-account news and 3-minute rules. Recent Trustpilot complaints about rejected payouts are worth reading before buying.”

What we like

  • Public docs list every limit, payout rule and worked example for each program
  • Standard split is 90%, with 100% available as a paid add-on
  • Access starts at $5 and the funded fee is only due after passing the evaluation
  • Published payout guarantee: $1,000 is credited if a payout is processed late

Watch out for

  • Funded accounts lose profit from trades held under 3 minutes or opened within 5 minutes of high-impact news
  • A first Atlas Protector trigger cuts the split to 50% (docs say for the life of the account, the rules page says for that payout cycle)
  • The fee refund is paid as Atlas Balance credit that cannot be withdrawn as cash

Flags we checked

  • Rules, examples and a changelog are published in a public docs site before purchase
  • Each payout gets a verifiable certificate
  • Trustpilot shows 3.9 from 2,042 reviews, while the firm's own site states 4.8/5
  • Terms of Service (updated 12 Oct 2026) still state an 80% default split and a 30-day first payout, unlike the docs
  • No restricted-country list published (MT5 is stated as not intended for US residents)

Full Atlas Funded review

Atlas Funded is a forex and CFD prop firm that opened in 2024 and now sells seven routes to a funded account. You trade forex pairs, metals and indices on MetaTrader 5, TradeLocker or Match-Trader, with leverage up to 1:100. Every program pays a 90% split as standard, list prices run from $43 for a $5,000 two-step to $1,826 for a $400,000 instant account, and the Access plan lets you start for $5 and pay the rest only if you pass.

The rulebook is public and unusually detailed. The catch is what it says about funded accounts. A 2% floating loss on your open trades cuts your split to 50% for good the first time and closes the account the second time. Profit on trades near high-impact news or held under 3 minutes is removed, and the firm's Terms of Service still describe an older, less generous deal than its help center. This review covers every program and rule with dollar examples.

The short version

  • Best for: disciplined forex traders who keep open risk small, hold trades for more than a few minutes, and want a high split at a low price.
  • Not for: scalpers, news traders on funded accounts, and anyone who lets losing trades run past 2% of the account.
  • Biggest strength: price and choice. The 2-Step costs as little as $4.08 per $1K of funding, Access starts at $5, and every rule is published before you buy.
  • Biggest risk: the Atlas Protector. One 2% net floating loss halves your split for the life of the account, and a second one breaches it.
  • Our score: 4.5 out of 5. Top marks for value and payout terms, held back by strict funded-account rules and a short track record.

Who runs Atlas Funded

The About page says Atlas was founded in 2024 and names Lucas Antonio as CEO and co-founder. The Terms of Service (updated 12 October 2026) name two companies. Atlas Funded LTD, a Saint Lucia corporation (company number 2025-00597) in Rodney Bay, Gros-Islet, provides the simulated trading. ATLAS VANQUISH FZCO, registered in Dubai Digital Park, holds the trading name. The firm lists offices in Saint Lucia, England and Dubai.

The terms are governed by UAE law. Disputes go to informal resolution by email, then binding arbitration with each side paying its own costs, and anything that can't be arbitrated goes to the UAE courts.

All accounts are simulated, and Atlas says so on its site: payouts are real rewards based on simulated performance. That's standard for retail prop firms.

The rulebook is a public docs site at help.atlasfunded.com, with a page for every program and rule, each marked "last reviewed 26 October 2026". We use the docs as the main source and flag where other Atlas pages disagree.

Programs and prices

Prices below are list prices from the pricing table on Atlas's website, checked on 28 October 2026. The site often runs a sale and shows these struck through, so checkout may be lower. The program pages in the docs don't print prices.

On 26 October 2026, 1-Step Daily and 2-Step Daily replaced the old 1-Step Pro and 2-Step Pro. Pro accounts bought before then keep their original rules.

1-Step

  • Make 10% with a 4% daily loss limit and a 7% static maximum loss.
  • At least 3 trading days (any UTC day with a closed trade). No time limit, no consistency rule.
  • Funded: same limits, 90% split, first payout 14 days after funding, then every 14 days.

$200,000$867$20,000$8,000$14,000

Worked example, $100,000 1-Step. Your floor is $93,000. With equity of $100,000 at 00:00 UTC, you can't drop below $96,000 that day. You pass at a closed balance of $110,000 after 3 trading days. Funded, each qualifying payout day needs $500 of closed profit (0.5%), and you need five per cycle.

2-Step

  • Phase 1: make 8%. Phase 2: make 5%.
  • 5% daily loss limit and 10% static maximum loss in every stage.
  • At least 3 trading days per phase, no time limit. Funded: 90% split, payouts every 14 days.

Worked example, $50,000 2-Step. The floor is $45,000 in both phases and when funded. If equity at 00:00 UTC is $51,000, that day's floor is $48,500. Reach $54,000 for phase 1 and $52,500 for phase 2. A qualifying funded day needs $250 of closed profit.

1-Step Daily

  • Make 8% with a 3% daily loss limit and a 6% static maximum loss. At least 3 trading days.
  • Funded: payouts on demand Monday to Friday, 3 trading days per cycle with no minimum profit per day, $50 threshold.
  • A 3% payout buffer stays in the account, and the first three payouts are capped at 2% of the starting balance.
  • The floor never moves, even after a payout.

Worked example, $100,000 1-Step Daily. Pass at $108,000 with the floor fixed at $94,000. Funded, you can only withdraw profit above $103,000, and each of the first three payouts is capped at $2,000. At $105,000 you'd withdraw $2,000, receive $1,800, and keep $103,000 in the account.

2-Step Daily

  • Phase 1: make 7%. Phase 2: make 4%.
  • 4% daily loss limit and 8% static maximum loss, funded too.
  • Same funded terms as 1-Step Daily: on-demand payouts, 3% buffer, 2% cap on the first three payouts.

Worked example, $50,000 2-Step Daily. The floor is $46,000 for life. Reach $53,500, then $52,000. Funded, you need $51,500 before you can withdraw, with a $1,000 cap on each early payout. At $53,000 you'd take $1,000, receive $900 and keep $52,000.

Instant Zero

Funded from the first trade, with no target and no daily loss limit.

  • 4% maximum loss, trailing at end of day. At each 00:00 UTC reset the floor moves up to 4% below your highest closed balance. It never moves down, and the docs describe no point where it stops.
  • No consistency rule and no inactivity limit.
  • 5 qualifying days per cycle, each with closed profit of at least 1%.
  • 3% payout buffer, and the first three payouts are capped at 5% of the starting balance.

Worked example, $10,000 Instant Zero. The floor starts at $9,600. Close Tuesday with a peak balance of $10,450, and from Wednesday 00:00 UTC the floor is $10,032. At a $10,900 balance you could withdraw $500 (the cap, above the $10,300 buffer line), receive $450, and drop to $10,400. The floor then re-anchors 4% below that, at $9,984.

Instant Funded

Funded from the first trade, in sizes up to $400,000.

  • 5% maximum loss, trailing at end of day from the highest closed balance. No lock is described.
  • 3% daily loss limit, set from your equity at each 00:00 UTC reset.
  • 20% consistency rule at payout, and 5 qualifying days per cycle at 1% or more.

Worked example, $50,000 Instant Funded. The floor starts at $47,500. Close a day at $50,300 and the next day's floor is $47,785. You need five days of at least $500 closed profit before a payout, and if the cycle made $3,000, no single day can exceed $600.

Access

The pay-after-you-pass plan: $5 to start, a funded fee only if you pass.

  • Evaluation: make 3%, no minimum days, 10% maximum loss trailing on equity, 5% daily limit.
  • After passing, you have 30 days to pay the funded fee.
  • Funded: 6% trailing equity maximum loss, 3% daily, 3 qualifying days per cycle at 0.5%+, and a 40% consistency rule. First payout after 28 days, then every 14.
  • Funded accounts on MT5 run at 1:50 leverage. Only the $5 is refundable.

Worked example, $10,000 Access. Pay $5 and reach $10,300. Your floor starts at $9,000 and trails your highest equity, open profit included: if a trade lifts equity to $10,250 and then reverses, the floor is already $9,225. Pass, pay $88, and the funded floor starts at $9,400 with $300 of daily room.

Which Atlas Funded plan should you pick?

For most traders the 2-Step is the best deal: the widest limits (5% daily, 10% total), the lowest targets, and the cheapest cost per $1K of any one-time fee, $816 for $200,000, or $4.08 per $1K. The fee comes back with your third payout, as platform credit.

The 1-Step suits confident traders who want one target. A 10% target against 7% of room is demanding, at $4.34 per $1K for $200,000.

Pick a Daily program if on-demand payouts matter more than room. The floor never re-anchors, but the buffer and 2% cap slow early withdrawals, and these plans cost about 15% more than the Pro versions they replaced, according to Atlas's pricing script.

Instant Zero fits traders with rare but large losing days, since there's no daily limit. Instant Funded gives the biggest accounts, but the 20% consistency rule and five 1% days per cycle demand steady returns.

Access has the least upfront risk: fail and you've lost $5. Pass, and the total is often higher than a 2-Step ($497 for $100,000 against $443), while the funded rules are the strictest Atlas sells. It's a cheap test, not the cheapest route to funding.

Instant Zero4%Trailing, end of dayNoneFloor re-anchors
Instant Funded5%Trailing, end of day3% trailingFloor re-anchors
Access10% eval, 6% fundedTrailing on equity5% eval, 3% fundedFloor re-anchors

"Re-anchors" catches people out. On a $100,000 1-Step the floor is $93,000. Withdraw $5,000 from a $106,000 balance and you're on $101,000, with a new floor of $93,930. So static drawdown on the standard programs is only static between payouts.

None of the trailing floors stop at the starting balance. The Access version is the harshest, because open profit raises it straight away.

The daily limit is measured on equity and resets at 00:00 UTC for every account: midnight in London in winter (1am in summer), and 8pm in New York during US daylight saving time (7pm in winter).

The Atlas Protector

On every funded account, if the net floating loss on your open positions reaches 2% of the initial balance, Atlas closes all of them.

  • First trigger: the account stays open, but your split drops to 50% for life, even with the 100% split add-on.
  • Second trigger: the account is breached.

Winners offset losers, and closed trades don't count. On $100,000 the trigger is $2,000 of combined open loss; on $5,000 it's $100. The Protector doesn't apply in evaluations, so habits that pass a challenge can cost you once funded. Keep total open risk well under 2%.

Leverage, margin and fees

Leverage is up to 1:100 everywhere except Access funded accounts on MT5, which run at 1:50. Margin per instrument comes from the platform's symbol settings and can be lower for indices and metals.

On funded accounts, a margin usage rule closes every position when margin in use reaches 80% of your available margin, and removes the profit on them. At 1:100, that's roughly $800,000 of open positions on a $10,000 account, so normal sizing won't get near it.

The docs don't publish commissions or spreads, so we can't give a round-trip cost. Some Trustpilot reviewers call commissions high. Check your platform's symbol specifications before sizing your first trade.

News, short trades and holding

On funded accounts, a window runs from 5 minutes before to 5 minutes after every high-impact (red folder) release on the Forex Factory calendar, on every instrument. A trade opened or closed inside it loses its profit, and a trade opened inside it is closed automatically. Trades opened before and closed after the window are fine, and losses stand. Evaluations can trade news freely.

The short-trade rule removes profit from any funded trade closed less than 3 minutes after opening, including partial closes and quick EA exits.

Overnight and weekend holding are allowed on every program.

EAs, copy trading and hedging

The docs allow EAs and algorithmic trading on every program, with you responsible if a bot breaks the news or 3-minute rules. The Terms of Service say only some EAs are permitted and you should ask first, so get written approval before running one funded.

Hedging across Atlas accounts, or between Atlas and another firm, is prohibited. Hedging inside one account isn't addressed, and neither is copy trading for CFD accounts. Latency or tick arbitrage, account sharing, order flooding and exploiting pricing errors are banned, and a confirmed breach can cost the profit, the payout or the account.

Consistency

ProgramBest day may be at mostExample
Instant Funded20% of cycle profit$3,000 cycle, best day $600 max
Access (funded)40% of cycle profit$1,000 cycle, best day $400 max
All othersNo rule

The consistency rule uses closed trades on UTC days. Going over never breaches the account; the payout just waits until more profitable days bring your best day under the limit.

Minimum days and inactivity

ProgramEvaluationFunded, per payout cycle

1-Step Daily, 2-Step Daily3 days per phase3 trading days, any profit
Instant Zero, Instant FundedNo evaluation5 days of 1%+ profit
AccessNone3 days of 0.5%+ profit

Every program except Instant Zero breaches after 30 days without a new trade, with warning emails at 23 and 29 days. A breached account can be reset within 7 days at a multiple of what you paid, from 0.85x in phase 1 to 1.55x on a funded 2-Step.

How payouts work

ProgramFirst payoutThenMinimum profit
1-Step, 2-Step14 days after fundingEvery 14 days$100
1-Step Daily, 2-Step DailyOn demand, Monday to FridayOn demand$50
Instant Zero, Instant Funded14 daysEvery 14 days$100
Access28 daysEvery 14 days$100

Instant accounts bought before 17 October 2026 wait 28 days for the first payout. Add-ons shorten cycles: Weekly Payout (+20% of the fee) gives 7-day cycles on Instant, and 7-day cycles after a 14-day first wait on Access. On-Demand Payout (+20%) lets 1-Step and 2-Step traders take a first payout as soon as they're funded, at a 50% split for that payout.

Requesting a payout closes all open positions and pauses the account until it's paid or rejected.

Split. 90% as standard, 100% with the split add-on (+20%), 50% for life after a first Protector trigger.

Caps and buffers. 1-Step, 2-Step, Instant Funded and Access have no cap beyond your profit. Instant Zero has a 3% payout buffer and a 5% cap on the first three payouts; the Daily programs have a 3% buffer and a 2% cap.

Methods. Rise, USDT on Ethereum (ERC-20), or Atlas Balance. Atlas Balance adds a 10% bonus (up to 25% with rank), but it's credit for challenges and add-ons and can't be withdrawn.

Speed. The Payout Reward Guarantee promises first payouts within 24 working hours and later ones within 48, or Atlas credits $1,000 ($500 with the late payout, $500 with the next). Working hours are 9am to 5pm BST on weekdays, so 24 working hours means three working days. Giveaway and collaborator accounts aren't covered.

Fee refund. The docs return your challenge fee with your third consecutive payout on that funded account, on every CFD program, as Atlas Balance rather than cash. Add-ons aren't refunded, and on Access only the $5 comes back.

KYC. KYC through Veriff is needed before your first payout is paid, not to buy or trade: photo ID, a selfie check and sanctions screening.

Scaling. Pricing cards on the website mention a "scaling plan as you grow", but the docs have no CFD scaling page. Treat it as not stated.

The docs were reviewed two days before we checked and are clearly the current rulebook. The terms are still the contract, so screenshot the rules that apply on the day you buy.

Who can sign up

Atlas doesn't publish a restricted-country list. The homepage says it accepts traders from "140+ countries", while the site header says "190+".

The only stated restriction is in the Terms of Service: MT5 services aren't intended for US citizens or residents. The terms say nothing similar about TradeLocker or Match-Trader, so if you're in the US, ask support in writing what you can use before you buy.

Identity checks only happen at your first payout, and Veriff screens your country of residence and sanctions status then. Confirm eligibility before you spend money, not after you've made profit.

Reputation

On Trustpilot, Atlas Funded scores 3.9 out of 5 from 2,038 reviews (1,719 in the last 12 months), checked on 28 October 2026. The split is lopsided: 58% five-star, 12% four-star, 3% three-star, 2% two-star and 25% one-star. Atlas claimed the profile in September 2024, pays for a Trustpilot subscription, invites customers to review, and had replied to 82% of negative reviews, typically within a month. See the Trustpilot page.

Atlas's own site header shows "4.8/5 Trustpilot", which doesn't match the live score.

Positive reviews mostly praise the clean dashboard, quick support and low prices. Negative reviews mostly describe payout delays or reduced payouts, accounts disabled or payouts denied over alleged rule breaks, rules that felt strict or unclear, and support that felt scripted. That fits the rulebook: the news, 3-minute, margin and Protector rules all bite at payout time.

We found no reports on Atlas Funded from Finance Magnates, FX News Group or FinanceFeeds, and no regulator actions. Atlas issues a certificate for each payout and says it has paid out "$2.1M+" (undated), a figure we can't verify.

Mistakes to avoid at Atlas Funded

  1. Treating the daily limit as your risk budget. Funded, a 2% combined open loss triggers the Protector long before a 4% or 5% daily limit. Size so all open trades together can't lose 2%.
  2. Trading funded like the evaluation. News trades and sub-3-minute scalps are fine in the challenge and cost profit once funded. Check the "Upcoming news restrictions" list on your Statistics page each day.
  3. Requesting a payout with trades open. The request closes everything. Close on your own terms first.
  4. Forgetting that "static" floors move after a payout. On 1-Step and 2-Step, recalculate your floor after every withdrawal.
  5. Counting the fee refund as cash. It arrives as Atlas Balance, usable only for challenges and add-ons.
  6. Letting an account sit. Thirty days without a trade breaches every program except Instant Zero.

Before you buy: checklist

  • Read the rules and the Atlas Protector page in full.
  • Work out 2% of your account size. That's your maximum combined open loss once funded.
  • Compare the checkout price with the tables above.
  • If you trade news or scalp, plan how you'll adapt once funded.
  • If you're in the US, confirm in writing which platform you may use.
  • Decide whether a refund in platform credit matters to you.
  • Use code SCOUT at checkout. See our Atlas Funded coupon page for how to apply it.

Our verdict

Atlas Funded is one of the cheapest ways into a funded forex account, and it publishes its rules more clearly than most. The 2-Step at $4.08 per $1K with 10% of room is strong value, and the $5 Access entry is a low-risk way to test a strategy.

The low price comes with strict funded rules. The 2% Protector, the news and 3-minute profit removals, and terms that still describe an 80% split and 30-day cycles mean you should read everything first and keep open risk small once funded. A quarter of Trustpilot reviewers giving one star suggests many traders didn't.
