About E8 Markets
E8 Markets is a forex prop firm, based in United States. It sells 4 programs — E8 One (4% drawdown, 80% payout), E8 One (4% drawdown, 100% payout), E8 Pro (6% drawdown, 80% payout) and E8 Pro (6% drawdown, 100% payout) — with accounts from $5K to $500K and prices from $28. You trade on MT5, TradeLocker, cTrader and Match-Trader. Funded traders keep up to 100% of profits, paid on demand by Rise and bank transfer.
Our verdict
“A flexible product for traders who want to tune risk and split, but Trustpilot flags the profile and the payout buffer on E8 Pro surprises some traders. Read the payout article before buying.”

What we like
- Drawdown and payout split can be tuned at checkout with the price shown for each combination
- E8 Pro has a static drawdown, no consistency rule and daily payout requests
- Rules, countries and payout steps are explained in a public help center
Watch out for
- E8 Pro payouts keep 50% of the requested profit in the account as a buffer, and some products have profit caps
- The headline 100% split costs noticeably more at checkout (E8 One 100K $398 at 80% vs $493 at 100%)
- E8 One bans trading within 5 minutes of high-impact news in the funded stage
Flags we checked
- Public help center covers products, payouts, restricted countries and prohibited strategies
- Trustpilot shows a guidelines-breach warning and says fake reviews were removed
- Several 2026 Trustpilot reviews criticise payout caps and the 50% buffer

E8 Markets is a Dallas-based prop firm that sells one-phase evaluations for forex, metals, indices, energies and crypto CFDs on MT5, TradeLocker, cTrader and Match-Trader. It has two products on its Classic Markets checkout: E8 One, where you pick your own drawdown size and profit split, and E8 Pro, which has a static drawdown and lets you request a payout every day.
The headline numbers look good. A $5,000 E8 Pro costs $28, E8 One goes up to a 100% split, there's no time limit and no minimum trading days. The catch is in how payouts are calculated. E8 One uses a drawdown that trails your closed profits, and E8 Pro only lets you withdraw half of your profit at a time, with a 2% cap on how much you can make in a day. This review walks through both, with dollar examples, so you know what you're actually buying.
The short version
- Best for: traders who want one phase, no deadline, and the freedom to choose their own drawdown size and split.
- Not for: news traders on a funded E8 One account, anyone who needs a crypto payout straight to a wallet, and traders who make most of their money on one or two big days.
- Biggest strength: flexibility. You can set E8 One's drawdown from 4% to 14% and its split from 80% to 100% at checkout, and E8 Pro has no consistency rule.
- Biggest risk: the payout math. On E8 Pro you can request only 50% of your profit at a time, and on E8 One the trailing floor means a full withdrawal can breach your account.
- Our score: 4.4 out of 5. Top marks for payouts (on demand, up to 100%), solid on track record and price, with points lost on rules such as E8 One's 40% best-day rule.
Who runs E8 Markets
E8 has operated since 2021. Its terms of service (effective 3 November 2025) are an agreement between you and E8 Funding LLC, and they say the owner of the platform is based in Texas. The terms are governed by Texas law. Disputes go to binding arbitration with the American Arbitration Association in Dallas County, and you waive class actions and jury trials. You can opt out of arbitration by emailing a signed notice within 30 days of first accepting the terms. E8's Trustpilot profile lists its address as 4101 McEwen Rd, Suite 205, Dallas.
Every account is simulated. The help center puts it plainly: all accounts are demo, the market data is real, the capital is not. Your payouts are paid by E8 from its own business, not from trades placed in a live market.
The rulebook lives in E8's public help center, with a separate article for each rule. That's useful, but the articles don't always agree with each other or with the terms, which we cover below. When rules matter, read the specific article for your product and screenshot it on the day you buy.
The help center also describes E8 Signature and E8 Zero. Signature didn't appear on the Classic Markets checkout when we checked on 28 October 2026, and E8 Zero is a futures product, so this review covers E8 One and E8 Pro.
Programs and prices
Prices below are list prices from E8's account configurator, checked on 28 October 2026, before any code. The configurator shows a first-order discount for E8's own code, which we haven't used in these numbers.
E8 One
E8 One is the customizable product. The prices in the table are for the cheapest setup: a 4% drawdown with an 80% split.
- Profit target: 6% of closed profit, in one phase.
- Daily drawdown: 3% of your starting balance, measured from your balance at the start of each day.
- Max drawdown: 4% "dynamic". It trails your highest closed balance and stops trailing once it reaches your starting balance.
- Funded stage: same 3% and 4% limits, plus a 40% best-day rule before each payout and a ban on trading around high-impact news.
- No time limit and no minimum days, but you must place and close at least one trade every 60 days.
- Split options: 80%, 90% or 100%.
| Account | Price | Target | Daily loss | Max loss |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| $5,000 | $40 | $300 | $150 | $200 |
| $10,000 | $72 | $600 | $300 | $400 |
| $25,000 | $154 | $1,500 | $750 | $1,000 |
| $50,000 | $235 | $3,000 | $1,500 | $2,000 |
| $100,000 | $398 | $6,000 | $3,000 | $4,000 |
| $200,000 | $650 | $12,000 | $6,000 | $8,000 |
| $400,000 | $1,301 | $24,000 | $12,000 | $16,000 |
| $500,000 | $1,627 | $30,000 | $15,000 | $20,000 |
A bigger drawdown raises the target and the daily limit with it, and the price climbs. Here's what we saw on a $100,000 account with an 80% split:
| Drawdown setting | Target | Daily drawdown | Price |
|---|---|---|---|
| 4% | $6,000 | $3,000 | $398 |
| 6% | $9,000 | $4,000 | $488 |
| 8% | $12,000 | $5,300 | $586 |
| 10% | $15,000 | $6,600 | $684 |
| 14% | $21,000 | $9,200 | $879 |
Moving the split from 80% to 100% on the 4% setup takes the $100,000 price from $398 to $493.
Worked example, $50,000 E8 One at 4%. Your floor starts at $48,000. On any day you can't drop more than $1,500 below that day's opening balance, so if you start a day at $50,800 your daily line is $49,300. You pass when closed profit reaches $3,000, so a balance of $53,000. The floor moves up with your best closed balance: close a winner that takes you to $51,000 and the floor becomes $49,000. Once your closed balance has hit $52,000, the floor locks at $50,000 and never moves again. That's a trailing drawdown that only follows closed trades, not open equity.
There's a clear contradiction inside E8's own E8 One article. It says the daily limit is a percentage "of your initial balance" and, in the next sentence, that it's calculated from "your starting balance of the day". The separate daily drawdown article settles it: the dollar amount is fixed from the initial balance, and the line is set from each day's opening balance.
E8 Pro
E8 Pro trades flexibility for a fixed floor and daily payouts. Prices below are for the cheapest setup: 6% static drawdown, 6% target, 80% split.
- Profit target: 6%, in one phase.
- Daily drawdown: 2.5% of the starting balance.
- Max drawdown: 6% static. It doesn't move until your first payout, when it rises to your starting balance.
- Daily profit cap: only 2% of your starting balance counts per day.
- No consistency rule, no payout cap and no minimum trading days. You still need one closed trade every 60 days.
- Split options: 80% or 100%. Drawdown options: 6%, 8% or 10%.
| Account | Price | Target | Daily loss | Max loss | Daily profit cap |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| $5,000 | $28 | $300 | $125 | $300 | $100 |
| $10,000 | $59 | $600 | $250 | $600 | $200 |
| $25,000 | $138 | $1,500 | $625 | $1,500 | $500 |
| $50,000 | $218 | $3,000 | $1,250 | $3,000 | $1,000 |
| $100,000 | $468 | $6,000 | $2,500 | $6,000 | $2,000 |
| $200,000 | $949 | $12,000 | $5,000 | $12,000 | $4,000 |
| $400,000 | $1,999 | $24,000 | $10,000 | $24,000 | $8,000 |
| $500,000 | $2,469 | $30,000 | $12,500 | $30,000 | $10,000 |
On a $100,000 account, the 8% setup costs $488 and the 10% setup costs $539, both with an 80% split. The 8% setup with a 100% split costs $586. With the bigger drawdowns the target rises to match (8% or 10%), while the 2.5% daily limit and 2% profit cap stay the same.
Note the mismatch between pages: the E8 Pro help article describes an 8% target and 8% drawdown as the standard account, while the configurator starts at 6%. Both exist. The 6% setup is cheaper; the 8% setup is what the help article's examples assume.
Worked example, $100,000 E8 Pro at 6%. Your floor is fixed at $94,000. On any day you can lose up to $2,500 from that day's opening balance. You pass at $106,000. Because only $2,000 a day counts, the fastest possible pass takes three trading days. Make $3,500 on day one and, per E8's daily profit cap article, the $1,500 above the cap is removed from your balance at rollover.
Which E8 Markets plan should you pick?
Pick E8 Pro if you want a floor that never moves while you trade and you like the idea of requesting money any day you're up 1%. It suits steady, small-gain traders. It's a poor fit if your style produces occasional big days, because anything above 2% in a day is wiped, and only half your profit is withdrawable at a time.
Pick E8 One if your edge comes from bigger moves and you can live with a trailing floor and the 40% best-day rule. The ability to buy a wider drawdown is the real selling point. A 4% trailing limit is tight on a $5,000 account ($200 of room), so many traders will be better off paying for the 6% or 8% setup.
Measured by cost per $1,000 of funding, the cheapest option is the $200,000 E8 One at about $3.25 per $1K ($650). The $400,000 and $500,000 E8 One accounts are within a fraction of a cent of that. The best E8 Pro value is the $50,000 at $4.36 per $1K. For a first attempt with sensible room, the $100,000 E8 One at the 6% setup ($488) gives you $6,000 of trailing room against a $9,000 target, which is a more forgiving ratio than the cheapest preset.
Trading rules in practice
Drawdown and the daily reset
E8 One uses a trailing drawdown based on closed balance that locks at your starting balance. E8 Pro uses a static drawdown that moves only once, to your starting balance, when your first payout is processed. Both are hard breaches: if equity or balance touches the line, the account is closed, even if the automatic close-out finishes above it.
The daily limit resets at 00:00 server time. E8's server time is UTC+3 for most of the year and UTC+2 from early November to late March, so the reset lands at 5pm New York time. That's the same moment as the usual forex rollover, which makes it easy to track.
Leverage and fees
On Classic Markets, E8 One and E8 Pro both offer 1:30 on forex, 1:15 on indices and 1:15 on metals. The E8 One article lists crypto at 1:1. On the Perpetual Futures market, leverage is 1:15 on Bitcoin and Ethereum, 1:2 on other crypto, 1:5 on stocks, 1:25 on forex and 1:15 on indices, metals and energy.
Classic Markets accounts come in two pricing types: raw spread with commission, or no commission with wider spreads. On E8's symbol page, EUR/USD on a raw spread account costs $5 per lot, round turn, charged once when you open. A 3-lot EUR/USD trade costs $15. Ten of those a day is $150, or 5% of the $3,000 daily limit on a $100,000 E8 One. Commissions count against your limits like any other loss. The no-commission EUR/USD showed an average spread of about 1.4 pips, against about 0.7 pips on raw.
cTrader costs an extra $10 on accounts priced under $100.
News, weekends and overnight
- E8 Pro: news trading allowed on both stages.
- E8 One challenge: news trading allowed.
- E8 One funded: no opening, closing, stop-loss, take-profit or stop orders from 5 minutes before to 5 minutes after a high-impact release on the affected instruments. For speeches, the window runs until 5 minutes after the speech ends. Profits from breaches are deducted when you request a payout.
Overnight and weekend holding are allowed on E8 One and E8 Pro at every stage. E8 warns that weekend gaps are your problem: if a gap breaches your limit, the account is gone.
EAs, copy trading and hedging
- EAs are allowed, but E8 limits each strategy to one user. If several traders run the same third-party EA, accounts can be terminated, so E8 recommends you code your own.
- Copy trading is allowed across accounts you own, including your personal accounts elsewhere.
- Hedging inside a single account is allowed. Opposite positions across accounts, including your own, are banned.
Consistency and the best-day rule
E8 Pro has no consistency rule. E8 One has none in the challenge, but on the funded account your best day must be no more than 40% of your total profit for the payout period. Break it and you don't lose the account; you just keep trading until the ratio works.
Example: your best day is $1,500. You need total profit of at least $3,750 ($1,500 ÷ 0.40) before you can request. Splitting a big winner across several days with partial closes counts as one trade idea, and E8 may lump the profit into a single day.
Position limits and prohibited practices
| Limit | Value |
|---|---|
| Max lot size per ticket (most symbols) | 50 lots |
| Max lot size per ticket (gold) | 20 lots |
| Open orders and positions at once | 100 |
| Server requests per day | 2,000 |
| Positions per day per account | 2,000 |
| Trades held under one minute | No more than 50% of your trades |
| Funded allocation, E8 One or E8 Pro | $500,000 per market |
Beyond the numbers, E8 bans "all-or-nothing" trading (risking your whole daily drawdown on one trade) and "irresponsible" large-volume trading. If the risk team flags you, it can cap your risk at 1% per trade idea, ask for a longer track record, close the account or withhold payouts. E8 also says a short interview with the risk team can happen at random.
Minimum activity
One closed trade every 60 days, on challenge and funded accounts. That applies to new accounts too: buy an account, don't trade it for 60 days, and it's disabled with no refund.
How payouts work
You can request payouts only on the funded (Performance) account, from the E8X dashboard.
- E8 One: on demand once the 40% best-day rule is met, which in practice means at least 3 days after your funded account starts.
- E8 Pro: any day, as long as you've made at least 1% of your starting balance ($1,000 on $100,000).
The E8 Pro 50% rule. When you request, E8 first sets aside 50% of your total profit as the requestable amount, then pays you your split of that. The rest stays in the account as a payout buffer. On a $100,000 E8 Pro with $4,000 profit, $2,000 is requestable and you receive $1,600 at an 80% split. Your floor then moves up to $100,000, with your balance at $102,000. E8 says you never need to leave an extra buffer on E8 Pro because this mechanism already does it.
The E8 One buffer. A payout comes out of your balance, but the trailing floor stays where it was. On a $100,000 account at 6% with a balance of $106,000, the floor is locked at $100,000. Withdraw the full $6,000 and you sit on the floor, which fails the account. E8's own advice is to leave 2% to 3% in after every payout.
Payout methods. Rise, WorkMarket, and Aeropay for US clients. There's no direct crypto payout, though Rise lets you receive cash or crypto from its own platform. E8 doesn't charge payout fees, but the processor may. If you can't pass Rise or WorkMarket's own checks, E8 says it can't pay you.
Speed. E8 publishes median figures for 1 January to 1 May 2026: 11 hours from request to approval and 24 hours to funds arriving in Rise or WorkMarket. It also says the process can take up to 5 business days, and payouts aren't processed at weekends. You can cancel and resubmit a request once per 24 hours, as long as it hasn't been approved yet.
E8's documents don't line up on minimums, refunds or the profit cap:
| Topic | One document says | Another says |
|---|---|---|
| Minimum payout | Payouts article: $100 requested on every product ($125 of profit at 80%) | E8 One article: payout must exceed 50% of your daily drawdown; E8 Pro article: 1% of the starting balance |
| Fee refund | Refund policy: refund if the account is under 30 days old, you haven't traded, and you didn't pay in crypto | Terms of service, section 4.2: all fees are non-refundable "under any circumstance" |
| Profit above the 2% cap (E8 Pro) | E8 Pro article: it simply doesn't count toward profit | Daily profit cap article: it's removed from your balance at rollover |
Plan for the stricter column every time. On E8 One, that means a $100,000 account at 3% daily drawdown needs more than $1,500 in profit before a request, not $125.
Fee refund. E8 doesn't return the fee with your first payout. The only refund route is the one above, issued to the original card in 2 to 5 business days.
Identity checks. You verify with Veriff before you can see every platform, get your login details or receive a funded account. After you pass, E8 checks your documents again within 24 hours. At your first payout, Rise or WorkMarket runs its own KYC and tax forms.
Scaling. E8 doesn't publish a scaling plan. You can hold up to $500,000 of funded E8 One and $500,000 of funded E8 Pro per market, per household.
Who can sign up
E8 doesn't accept traders from 35 countries and territories on Classic Markets: Afghanistan, Albania, Algeria, Belarus, Burundi, Central African Republic, Congo, Cuba, DR Congo, Ethiopia, Iran, Iraq, Kosovo, Lebanon, Libya, Mali, Myanmar, Nicaragua, North Korea, Pakistan, the Palestinian territories, Russia, Samoa, Somalia, South Sudan, Sudan, Syria, Ukraine, the United Arab Emirates, the US Minor Outlying Islands, Vatican City, Venezuela, Western Sahara, Yemen and Zambia.
There are product limits too. Traders from Bangladesh, Bulgaria, Cambodia, Croatia, Laos, Romania and Taiwan can't buy E8 One. Traders from India, Indonesia, Kenya and Vietnam can buy E8 One only up to $200,000. Your country is the one on your ID document, not where you are when you log in.
US traders are accepted, and Aeropay is a US-only payout option. US clients can only use TradeLocker and Match-Trader, not MT5 or cTrader.
Reputation
On Trustpilot, E8's rating is currently hidden. When we checked on 28 October 2026, the profile said the company's rating "is unavailable due to a breach of our guidelines", and a notice said Trustpilot had removed a number of fake reviews. The profile shows 3,302 reviews, 545 of them in the last 12 months, with 84% five-star and 10% one-star. The profile carries a description written by the company, and no reply rate was shown. See the Trustpilot page.
A hidden rating with a fake-review notice is a real warning sign, and it means the 84% five-star share shouldn't be taken at face value.
The positive reviews talk about the dashboard, the ability to customize accounts, and the community on Discord and X. The negative reviews in recent months cluster around E8 Pro's payout mechanics: several reviewers describe the 50% requestable amount and the 2% daily profit cap as cutting their real share of profit. Others mention wide spreads, platform lag, slow email support, and trading fees on crypto eating into small wins. One reviewer says their payouts were repeatedly denied, and an affiliate says commission was refused. We couldn't verify either claim.
In the news, Finance Magnates reported on 21 April 2026 that E8 describes itself as a "SaaS educational simulation platform", says it isn't a broker, and reports on its site a pass rate just under 18% for 2023 to 2024 among traders who traded at least once. On 7 July 2026 it covered the launch of E8 Zero. We found no regulator actions against E8.
For payout proof, E8 publishes its median processing times and shows an "average first payout" on the configurator: $5,806 for E8 One and $1,546 for E8 Pro. Those are E8's own figures and we can't check them.

Mistakes to avoid at E8 Markets
- Withdrawing everything from E8 One. The floor doesn't drop when you take a payout. Leave at least 2% to 3% in, as E8 itself suggests.
- Trading news on a funded E8 One. The ±5-minute window covers closing trades and stop orders too, not just new entries. Check E8's economic calendar each morning.
- Banking on big days at E8 Pro. Anything above 2% in a day is removed at rollover. Close your platform when you hit the cap.
- Buying the cheapest E8 One without doing the math. A $5,000 account at 4% gives you $200 of trailing room. One slipped stop and you're out.
- Letting an account sit. No closed trade in 60 days and the account is disabled, even if you never started it.
- Paying in crypto and expecting a refund. E8 won't refund crypto payments at all, even on an untouched account.
Before you buy: checklist
- Check that your country can buy the product you want, using the country on your ID.
- Pass Veriff first. Without it you may not see every platform or get your login details.
- Decide your drawdown and split at checkout. They can't be changed later.
- If you're in the US, plan on TradeLocker or Match-Trader.
- Confirm you can open a Rise or WorkMarket account, or Aeropay if you're in the US.
- Read the E8 One or E8 Pro article in full and screenshot it on the day you buy.
- Use code SCOUT at checkout. See our E8 Markets coupon page for how to apply it.
Our verdict
E8 Markets is a sensible choice for traders who want a single phase with no deadline and like choosing their own risk settings. The E8 One with a wider drawdown and a 100% split is flexible, and E8 publishes its median payout times, so you know what speed to expect.
The fine print needs real attention. E8 Pro's 50% requestable amount and 2% daily cap shrink what you can take home, E8 One's trailing floor punishes full withdrawals, and the help center and terms disagree on refunds and minimums. Add a Trustpilot rating that's hidden for a guidelines breach, and the right approach is to start with a mid-sized account, request a payout early, and scale only once you've been paid.

Reported payout problems
October 2026 · Trustpilot reviews
About six of the most recent 1-2 star Trustpilot reviews (20 Sep-15 Oct 2026) criticise payouts: two say payouts were denied or stalled (one by an affiliate), and four object to profit caps and a 50% profit buffer that holds back part of each payout, which the help center documents as a rule on E8 Pro. Unverified trader claims; no firm replies were visible. No news or regulator report found.

Worth knowing: Trustpilot hides its rating after removing fake reviews; recent 1-star reviews mostly criticise payout caps and the profit buffer (2 of 20 report a denied payout).
