About BEM Funding

BEM Funding is a crypto prop firm, based in United Arab Emirates. It sells 4 programs — BEM One, BEM One Only, BEM Classic and BEM Classic Swing — with accounts from $5K to $200K and prices from $39. You trade on MT5 and cTrader. Funded traders keep up to 80% of profits, paid on demand by crypto and Rise.

Our verdict

“Suits traders who want a one-step evaluation with no evaluation-stage consistency rule and are comfortable with MT5 or cTrader. The Trustpilot fake-review warning is a reason to look at independent feedback before paying.”

What we like

  • Prices published for six sizes up to $200K with no consistency rule in the BEM One evaluation
  • Separate terms of use published for each program, with worked examples of drawdown and reward rules
  • Crypto positions may be held over the weekend on every funded account
  • An evaluation-fee refund is available as a checkout add-on

Watch out for

  • Funded accounts restrict news trading (4 minutes either side) and weekend holding on FX, metals, indices and energies, except on Swing and One Only
  • Reward requests can take up to 3 business days to approve, carry a 2% fee and have a $150 minimum
  • Reward payouts of $1,500 or more go through Rise Works; smaller ones are USDC on ERC-20 only

Flags we checked

  • Per-program terms of use and a prohibited-practices policy are public
  • Trustpilot shows a warning that the rating is unavailable after fake reviews were removed
  • MT5 is provided by a separate Saint Lucia company (BEM Ltd, registration 2026-00240)

Full BEM Funding review

17 min read · Updated Oct 28, 2026

BEM Funding is a Dubai-based prop firm that sells simulated evaluations on MT5 and cTrader. It's listed with crypto firms because one plan, BEM One Only, gives you 140+ crypto pairs priced from a Bybit feed, but every account also trades forex, metals, indices and energies. There are four programs: two one-step plans with on-demand rewards and two classic two-step plans, from $39 for a $5,000 account up to $200,000.

The prices are reasonable and the one-step plans are flexible during the evaluation: no minimum days, news trading and weekend holding allowed. The catch arrives when you're funded. Most accounts then lose news trading around high-impact events and weekend holding on anything but crypto, new risk caps kick in, every reward is reviewed by hand and costs a 2% fee, and the firm's own pages disagree on the split, the payout schedule and who can join. This review covers each plan with dollar examples.

The short version

  • Best for: intraday traders who want a cheap one-step evaluation, crypto access alongside forex, and on-demand rewards without a fixed payout date.
  • Not for: news traders and weekend swing traders on the standard plans once funded, US and UAE residents, and anyone who copies trades from others.
  • Biggest strength: flexible one-step evaluations: no minimum days on BEM One and One Only, and a 6% target on One Only.
  • Biggest risk: the switch from evaluation to funded. New rules (news windows, weekend bans, per-symbol risk caps, an "Equity Guard" that cuts your split) apply only after you pass, and Trustpilot complaints centre on accounts denied at that stage.
  • Our score: 4.0 out of 5. Top marks for on-demand rewards and good value, held back by an 80% split, funded-stage restrictions and a short track record.

Who runs BEM Funding

The website footer names two companies:

  • BEX Software Development LLC-FZ, trading as BEM Funding, incorporated in the United Arab Emirates and based at Meydan Grandstand, Nad Al Sheba, Dubai. It operates the cTrader and DXtrade platforms.
  • BEM Ltd., incorporated in Saint Lucia (registration number 2026-00240), which operates the MT5 platform.

The terms and conditions (last updated 26 October 2026) are governed by the laws of the UAE as applied in Dubai, and the courts of Dubai have exclusive jurisdiction, with carve-outs for mandatory consumer rights in your home country. BEM Funding doesn't state a founding year on its pages; the site's own search metadata lists 2024, and its Trustpilot reviews go back at least to early 2025.

All accounts are simulated. BEM says crypto prices come straight from Bybit's order book, while forex and other prices come from liquidity providers it doesn't name. The challenge pages offer MT5 and cTrader; DXtrade appears only in the footer.

Rules live in per-program "Terms of Use" pages with exact drawdown formulas, plus a prohibited practices page and an FAQ. They're more precise than most firms' rules, but the marketing pages don't always match them.

Programs and prices

Prices below are list prices from each program's checkout widget, checked on 28 October 2026, before any coupon. They're the same on MT5 and cTrader. All four programs pay an 80% reward split. Daily limits reset at 22:00 UTC.

BEM One

BEM One is a one-step evaluation with no minimum days and no consistency rule while you're tested.

  • 9% target, 3% daily drawdown, 6% trailing max drawdown.
  • The trailing drawdown follows your balance up and locks at your starting balance.
  • Daily floor: the higher of your equity or balance at 22:00 UTC, minus 3% of the starting balance.
  • Funded: 35% best-day rule at each reward request, news blocked 4 minutes either side of high-impact events on affected instruments, no weekend holding except crypto, and a 1.2% risk cap per symbol.
  • Rewards on demand. Each request must be at least $150 and at least half your daily drawdown amount.
AccountPriceTargetDaily lossMax lossMinimum reward request
$5,000$47$450$150$300$150
$10,000$89$900$300$600$150
$25,000$194$2,250$750$1,500$375
$50,000$285$4,500$1,500$3,000$750
$100,000$520$9,000$3,000$6,000$1,500
$200,000$790$18,000$6,000$12,000$3,000

Worked example, $50,000 BEM One. Your floor starts at $47,000. If yesterday ended at $51,000, today's daily floor is $49,500. Once your balance reaches $53,000, the trailing floor locks at $50,000 for good. You pass at $54,500, possibly in one session. Funded, with $4,000 of profit your best day can't be more than $1,400 (35%), and your smallest allowed request is $750. Request $3,000 and you keep $2,400 at 80%, or $2,352 after the 2% fee, with $1,000 left above the floor.

BEM One Only

One Only is the cheapest per dollar of funding and the most crypto-heavy, with 140+ crypto pairs plus the usual forex and indices.

  • 6% target, 3% daily drawdown, 6% trailing max drawdown.
  • The drawdown trails your end-of-day balance and locks at the starting balance.
  • Daily floor: your balance at 22:00 UTC minus 3% of the starting balance.
  • A 30% best-day rule in the evaluation and before every reward.
  • News trading and weekend holding are allowed in both stages.
  • Funded: Equity Guard caps total open risk at 2% of the starting balance. Each breach closes the positions and cuts your split by 20 points for the life of the account (80% to 60% to 40%); a third breach ends it.
  • After a reward you must keep a buffer of at least half your daily drawdown amount.
AccountPriceTargetDaily lossMax lossEquity Guard limit
$5,000$40$300$150$300$100
$10,000$90$600$300$600$200
$25,000$180$1,500$750$1,500$500
$50,000$270$3,000$1,500$3,000$1,000
$100,000$460$6,000$3,000$6,000$2,000
$200,000$750$12,000$6,000$12,000$4,000

The $10,000 One Only costs more than the $10,000 BEM One ($90 against $89), even though the $5,000 is cheaper. Odd, but that's what the checkout shows.

Worked example, $100,000 One Only. Your floor starts at $94,000 and only moves at the end of the day. Once a day closes at $106,000 or more, it locks at $100,000. With the 30% rule, your best day can't exceed $1,800 at exactly $6,000 of profit, so you need at least four winning days. Funded, you can never have more than $2,000 of combined open risk across all trades, and after a reward you must leave at least $1,500 above the floor.

BEM Classic

Classic is a traditional two-step with a fixed drawdown and the highest leverage.

  • Phase 1: 9% target. Phase 2: 4.5% target.
  • 4.5% daily drawdown (from the higher of equity or balance at 22:00 UTC) and a 9% static max drawdown.
  • Each phase needs at least 3 qualifying days, each with realized profit of at least 0.5% of the starting balance.
  • Leverage up to 1:100 on forex.
  • Funded: rewards every 14 days (7 days with an add-on), 3 trading days before each request, same news and weekend restrictions as BEM One, and a 1.2% per-symbol risk cap.
AccountPricePhase 1 targetPhase 2 targetDaily lossMax lossQualifying day
$5,000$39$450$225$225$450$25

$50,000$321$4,500$2,250$2,250$4,500$250
$100,000$519$9,000$4,500$4,500$9,000$500

Worked example, $100,000 Classic. Your account breaches at $91,000, and that line never moves. If yesterday closed at $103,000, today's daily floor is $98,500. Phase 1 ends at $109,000, but only after three days that each booked at least $500 of realized profit. Phase 2 needs $4,500, with three more $500 days.

BEM Classic Swing

Swing keeps Classic's targets and limits but lets you hold everything overnight and over weekends, swap-free, at lower leverage.

  • Same 9% and 4.5% targets, 4.5% daily and 9% static max drawdown, and 3 qualifying days per phase.
  • Daily floor uses your balance at 22:00 UTC, not equity.
  • Leverage: forex 1:30, metals 1:9, indices 1:15, BTC and ETH 1:1.5, other crypto 1:1.
  • Funded news rule: trades opened 8 hours or more before an event can be managed normally; newer trades can stay open but can't be touched in the 8-minute window.
AccountPricePhase 1 targetPhase 2 targetDaily lossMax loss
$5,000$69$450$225$225$450
$10,000$155$900$450$450$900
$25,000$296$2,250$1,125$1,125$2,250
$50,000$447$4,500$2,250$2,250$4,500
$100,000$890$9,000$4,500$4,500$9,000

Worked example, $25,000 Swing. Your floor is $22,750 and your daily allowance is $1,125. You need $2,250 in phase 1 and $1,125 in phase 2, each with three $125 days. You can hold a gold position from Thursday into the next week without paying swaps.

Which BEM Funding plan should you pick?

BEM One Only is the best value: $750 for $200,000 works out to $3.75 per $1,000, and the 6% target is the lowest of the four. It's also the only plan that keeps full news trading once funded, and one of two that keep weekend holding. The costs are a 30% best-day rule at both stages and the Equity Guard, which punishes anyone who stacks positions.

BEM One ($3.95 per $1K at $200,000, $5.20 at $100,000) suits traders who make their money in a few strong days: no consistency rule while you're tested, and only 35% once funded. You give up news and weekend trading after passing.

BEM Classic has the cheapest ticket ($39 for $5,000) and a static 9% drawdown, the most forgiving structure if you take some heat on trades. The qualifying-day rule means you can't pass on small grinding gains, and rewards come every 14 days.

BEM Classic Swing costs the most ($8.90 per $1K at $100,000). Buy it only if you need to hold non-crypto positions over weekends once funded.

Trading rules in practice

Drawdown and the daily reset

BEM uses three kinds of drawdown:

ProgramMax drawdownHow it movesDaily floor based on
BEM One6%Trails balance, locks at startHigher of equity or balance
BEM One Only6%Trails end-of-day balance, locks at startBalance
BEM Classic9%StaticHigher of equity or balance
BEM Classic Swing9%StaticBalance

The daily limit resets at 22:00 UTC, which is 6pm New York time during US daylight saving and 5pm in winter. BEM's platform clock runs on GMT+1.

On the two trailing plans, the floor stops rising at your starting balance. That's kinder than a drawdown that trails forever, but in the first few weeks every new high lifts your floor.

BEM One Only1:501:151:151:2
BEM Classic1:1001:301:501:2
BEM Classic Swing1:301:91:151:1.5

Commissions are $2 per lot per side on forex, nothing on indices, 0.0007% of volume on metals and 0.025% of volume on crypto. A 2-lot EURUSD round trip costs $8. A $50,000 BTC position costs about $12.50 to open and $12.50 to close, $25 in total. Spreads are listed on the Symbols page.

News, weekends and overnight

During the evaluation, news trading and weekend holding are allowed on every plan. Once funded:

  • BEM One and Classic: no opening, closing or modifying trades, stops or pending orders on affected instruments from 4 minutes before to 4 minutes after high-impact news. A violation removes the profit from that window and counts as a soft breach; two soft breaches end the account. Forex, metals, indices and energies must be closed before Friday's close. Crypto is exempt from both.
  • Classic Swing: the 8-minute window applies, with the 8-hour exception above; overnight and weekend holding stay allowed.
  • One Only: news and weekends allowed in both stages.

All four sets of terms also ban strategies "designed to capitalize on" high-impact news at any time, including straddles and trading the first spike. If maintenance of 2 hours or more is announced, you must close positions beforehand.

Risk caps once funded

ProgramFunded risk capWhat happens
BEM One1.2% of starting balance per symbolPositions closed; 2 breaches can end the account
BEM Classic and Swing1.2% per symbolPositions closed; 3 breaches can end the account
BEM One Only2% total open risk (Equity Guard)Split cut by 20 points per breach; 3 breaches end it

On a $100,000 BEM One account, 1.2% is $1,200 of risk on any one symbol. Size your stops before you pass, not after.

Consistency and qualifying days

  • BEM One: none in the evaluation; best day 35% or less of lifetime realized profit at every reward request.
  • One Only: best day 30% or less, in the evaluation and at every reward.
  • Classic and Swing: 3 qualifying days per phase (0.5% of realized profit each) and 3 trading days before each reward.

BEM says it may merge profits into one day if you split trades or delay closes to game the consistency rule.

EAs, copy trading and hedging

  • EAs are allowed, but not ones built for tick scalping, latency arbitrage or excessive order activity, and not third-party EAs whose source code you don't own.
  • Copy trading from other traders or signal services is banned. The rules don't clearly allow copying between your own accounts, and a Trustpilot reviewer says identical trades on two of his accounts cost him his funded account.
  • Hedging is banned when used to get around rules, in one account or across accounts.
  • Gambling-style trading is banned, including "attempts to pass an evaluation through a small number of high-risk trades".

Account limits and inactivity

You can hold as many evaluations as you like, but no more than $200,000 of funded capital per trader, and that cap applies per household. The terms count an account as inactive after 31 days without a trade, unless a program says otherwise.

How payouts work

BEM calls payouts "rewards". The split is 80% on every program.

ProgramWhen you can requestMinimumExtra conditions
BEM OneAny time (on demand)$150, or 50% of daily drawdown if higher35% best-day rule, buffer above floor
BEM One OnlyAny time (on demand)$15030% best-day rule, buffer of 50% of daily drawdown

Processing. Requests are reviewed within up to 3 business days, then usually paid within a few hours. Rewards under $1,500 go out in USDC on Ethereum (ERC-20); $1,500 and up go through Rise Works. A 2% processing fee applies to every reward, plus network gas on crypto.

Example. A $3,000 request on BEM One gives you $2,400 at 80%. After the 2% fee ($48) you receive $2,352, and because that's over $1,500 it arrives through Rise.

Fee refund. Only if you buy the refund add-on at checkout, in which case the fee comes back with your first reward.

KYC. Required after you pass and before you get the funded account. Your eligible country is the one on your ID document, not where you live.

Reviews and interviews. BEM's risk team can invite you to an online meeting. You must reply within 7 days and attend within 21 business days, or the account can be closed without a refund.

Scaling. BEM doesn't publish a scaling plan.

Who can sign up

BEM's AML policy bars 57 jurisdictions, including the United States, the United Arab Emirates (where the operator is based), Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Russia, Ukraine, Belarus, Iran, Iraq, North Korea, Cuba, Venezuela, Libya, Sudan, Haiti and a long list of small island states. Saint Lucia is on the list too, although BEM Ltd. is registered there. The footer and FAQ list leaves out Guinea, Haiti, Libya, Russia, Sudan and Ukraine, so assume the longer AML list applies.

Payment is by card, Apple Pay, Google Pay, PayPal or crypto. The terms give you a 14-day withdrawal right before your evaluation is activated; once it starts, fees are generally non-refundable.

Reputation

On Trustpilot, BEM Funding shows no TrustScore, checked on 28 October 2026. Trustpilot says the rating is unavailable because of a breach of its guidelines and that it has removed a number of fake reviews. The profile shows 220 reviews, 61 in the last 12 months, split 80% five-star, 2% four-star, 4% three-star, 1% two-star and 13% one-star. The company has written its own profile description and replies to some reviews; no reply rate is shown. See the Trustpilot page.

Positive reviews praise spreads, helpful support staff and payouts that arrived within a day or two. Negative reviews describe funded accounts refused after passing, over trades that touched the 4-minute news window or matching trades across two accounts, post-evaluation interviews, and stop losses filled at prices the reviewers dispute. A few mention the 2% fee.

We found no regulator actions or coverage of BEM Funding in Finance Magnates, FX News Group or FinanceFeeds. The homepage claims more than $3 million paid out and 20,000+ funded traders; we couldn't verify either.

Mistakes to avoid at BEM Funding

  1. Trading the news after you pass. It's allowed in the evaluation and banned on funded BEM One and Classic accounts for 4 minutes either side, and two slips end the account.
  2. Holding forex or indices into the weekend once funded. Only crypto may stay open, except on Classic Swing and One Only.
  3. Sizing up on one symbol. The 1.2% per-symbol cap (or One Only's 2% Equity Guard) applies from your first funded trade.
  4. Running the same trades on two accounts. BEM treats coordinated or identical trading as a prohibited practice.
  5. Requesting a reward that leaves no buffer. On BEM One, a reward that drains the account to a locked floor ends it.
  6. Ignoring the interview invite. Reply within 7 days, or you risk losing the account.

Before you buy: checklist

  • Check that your ID document's country isn't on the AML policy's 57-jurisdiction list.
  • Pick a plan for how you trade once funded, not just how you'd pass.
  • Decide on the refund add-on at checkout; you can't add it later.
  • Read the terms of use for your program, especially the news, weekend and risk-cap sections.
  • Plan for the 2% reward fee and the $150 (or higher) minimum.
  • Use code SCOUT at checkout. See our BEM Funding coupon page for how it works.

Our verdict

BEM Funding offers good evaluations. BEM One Only at $3.75 per $1,000 with a 6% target, or BEM One with no minimum days and on-demand rewards, are solid options for a disciplined intraday trader who wants crypto and forex in one account.

The trouble starts after you pass. The funded rules are stricter than the evaluation rules, the firm reviews every account and reward by hand, and its own pages disagree on the split and payout schedule. Trade your evaluation as if the funded rules already applied, and you'll avoid most of the disputes in its reviews.
