Full FundedHive review

FundedHive is a forex and CFD prop firm built around a crypto wallet. You trade forex, metals and selected indices on cTrader, you connect a MetaMask wallet instead of a bank account, and payouts arrive in USDC from a smart contract. Its PayFromProfits plans start at a $9 access fee for a $5,000 two-step, with an 80% split and no consistency rule.
The headline price isn't the full price. Pass, and you owe a funded-account fee of 1% to 3% of the account size, set by how you traded in the challenge. Once funded, a 1% drop below your starting balance moves you from real execution ("A-book") to a demo ("B-book") where profits don't pay out. Payouts are capped at $1,000 a day per wallet address, and Trustpilot has hidden FundedHive's rating over a guideline breach. This review explains each piece with dollar examples.
The short version
- Best for: disciplined forex traders who use stop losses on every trade, are comfortable with MetaMask and USDC, and want fast on-chain payouts.
- Not for: anyone who wants a simple card-and-bank setup, traders who hold over weekends, and anyone who lets a funded account dip more than 1% below its start.
- Biggest strength: the entry price and the payout plumbing. A $100,000 two-step costs $99 to start, and payouts are claimed from a smart contract with a public on-chain ledger.
- Biggest risk: the A-book/B-book switch. A 1% loss on a funded account parks you in demo mode, and any real losses must be earned back before you can withdraw again.
- Our score: 3.7 out of 5. Strong payout terms and low entry costs, held back by the funded-fee and A-book rules and a track record we can't date.
Who runs FundedHive
FundedHive's Terms of Use (effective 5 January 2026) name FundedHive DAC, described as a decentralized autonomous corporation, represented by TradingHive Technologies Ltd. (company licence CL9878) at the FintechHive Building in the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC). The Web3 user guide lists an address at 447 Broadway, New York, and Trustpilot shows the United States as the contact country. Finance Magnates interviewed founder and CEO Thomas Heinfart on 2 May 2026. We couldn't find a founding year in FundedHive's own documents.
The terms are governed by DIFC law. Disputes go to FundedHive's internal Review Process first, then to arbitration under the LCIA Rules, seated in the DIFC, with one arbitrator.
Challenges are simulated. Funded accounts work differently from most firms: according to the terms, TradingHive Technologies acts as a technology provider and sells trading signals to TradingHive Global Brokerage Ltd., which may copy funded traders' positions into real markets with its own money. That's the "A-book". Payouts are claimed from a smart contract, and the terms say no TradingHive company sends or holds trader payouts.
The rulebook is a 41-page General Terms and Conditions PDF with product annexes (effective January 2026), plus a long FAQ on the website. Read Annex 2 (PayFromProfits) and Annex 3 (the A-book system) before you buy.
Programs and prices
FundedHive sells three account families. This review focuses on the two PayFromProfits (PFP) plans, which made up most of the recent purchases on FundedHive's public ledger when we checked. Prices are the access fees on FundedHive's homepage and funding-models page, checked on 28 October 2026, and they match the price tables in the terms.
Both PFP plans share these rules:
- 80% split, fixed once funded.
- 5% daily loss (end of day, balance-based) and 10% overall loss (static, balance-based).
- 3% maximum loss on any single trade.
- 3 profitable days per phase. A day counts only if you make at least 1% of the starting balance and your balance is at or above the starting balance.
- No time limit and no consistency rule. Netting accounts on cTrader, 1:50 dynamic leverage on FX.
- After passing, you pay a funded fee of 1% to 3% of the account size, depending on your risk group (see below).
PayFromProfits 1-Step
One phase with a 10% target.
| Account | Access fee | Target | Daily loss | Max loss | Max loss per trade | Funded fee (1% to 3%) |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| $5,000 | $19 | $500 | $250 | $500 | $150 | $50 to $150 |
| $10,000 | $39 | $1,000 | $500 | $1,000 | $300 | $100 to $300 |
| $25,000 | $99 | $2,500 | $1,250 | $2,500 | $750 | $250 to $750 |
| $50,000 | $149 | $5,000 | $2,500 | $5,000 | $1,500 | $500 to $1,500 |
| $100,000 | $249 | $10,000 | $5,000 | $10,000 | $3,000 | $1,000 to $3,000 |
| $200,000 | $399 | $20,000 | $10,000 | $20,000 | $6,000 | $2,000 to $6,000 |
Worked example, $100,000 1-Step. You pay $249. Your floor is $90,000, you can lose $5,000 in a day, and no single trade may lose more than $3,000. You pass at $110,000, with at least three days of $1,000 or more in profit while the balance is above $100,000. Then the funded fee is $1,000 if you land in the Low risk group, or $3,000 in High risk, with $1,500 of that due upfront.
PayFromProfits 2-Step
Two phases with targets of 8% and 6%. You pay the access fee for phase 1, then a second access fee within 14 calendar days of passing to open phase 2. The site calls it a per-phase fee but doesn't print the phase 2 amount separately.
| Account | Access fee | Phase 1 target | Phase 2 target | Daily loss | Max loss | Max loss per trade | Funded fee |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| $5,000 | $9 | $400 | $300 | $250 | $500 | $150 | $50 to $150 |
| $10,000 | $19 | $800 | $600 | $500 | $1,000 | $300 | $100 to $300 |
| $25,000 | $49 | $2,000 | $1,500 | $1,250 | $2,500 | $750 | $250 to $750 |
| $50,000 | $75 | $4,000 | $3,000 | $2,500 | $5,000 | $1,500 | $500 to $1,500 |
| $100,000 | $99 | $8,000 | $6,000 | $5,000 | $10,000 | $3,000 | $1,000 to $3,000 |
| $200,000 | $199 | $16,000 | $12,000 | $10,000 | $20,000 | $6,000 | $2,000 to $6,000 |
Worked example, $50,000 2-Step. You pay $75 for phase 1. Your floor is $45,000, your daily room is $2,500, and no trade may lose more than $1,500. Reach $54,000, pay the phase 2 fee, then reach $53,000. Each profitable day needs at least $500. The funded fee then runs from $500 (Low risk, paid from profits) to $1,500 (High risk, $750 upfront).
The website shows the funded fee as "starts at" $49 to $1,999, a dollar under the 1% figures in the terms.
The risk groups and the funded fee
When you pass, FundedHive's system sorts you into a risk group based on how you traded in the challenge. That sets your funded fee and how much of it you pay upfront:
| Group | Funded fee | Paid upfront | Stop loss | Max loss per trade | Max daily loss | Max drawdown |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Low | 1% | 0% | On every trade, within 20 seconds of opening | 1% | 2% | 5% |
| Moderate | 2% | 0% | Set before the trade closes | 1.5% | 3% | 6% |
| Medium | 2.5% | 50% | Not required | 2% | 4% | 7% |
| High | 3% | 50% | Not required | 3% | 5% | 10% |
The daily figure is measured against the previous day's closing balance. The limits keep applying once you're funded. If you break your group's limits, the account is paused, open positions are closed, and you must pay the fee difference for the higher group before you can trade again. A trade opened by mistake and closed within 10 seconds without a stop loss doesn't count against you.
The fee comes out of your share first. On a $100,000 Moderate account (fee $2,000), your first $2,500 of profit gives you an 80% share of $2,000, all of which goes to the fee. If one funded account doesn't make enough to cover its fee, the terms let FundedHive take the rest from payouts on your other funded accounts.
Other FundedHive accounts
The Classic 2-Step charges a one-time fee with no funded fee: 8% and 6% targets, 10% overall loss, 3% per trade. Every trader starts on NewBee (70% split, 5% daily, 1:50 leverage, $15 for $2,000 up to $899 for $200,000), then moves up to WorkerBee (80%, 4% daily, 1:100, $19 to $1,099) and QueenBee (90%, 3% daily, 1:200, $29 to $1,199). InstantGrowth costs $299 for a $10,000 account with a 6% target per level, 6% static drawdown, 2% per trade and no daily limit, scaling over 10 levels to $1,000,000.
Which FundedHive plan should you pick?
If you trade with tight stops already, the PFP 2-Step is the cheapest way in: $99 for $100,000, or $0.99 per $1K in phase 1 access fees. Two phases cost more time, but the 6% second target is easier than the 1-Step's 10%.
The PFP 1-Step suits traders who'd rather hit one bigger target. At $249 for $100,000 it's $2.49 per $1K before the funded fee.
Either way, budget for the funded fee. On a $100,000 2-Step, a Low-risk trader pays $99, the phase 2 fee and $1,000 from profits. A High-risk trader pays the same access fees plus $3,000, with $1,500 of it upfront. Trading the challenge like a Low-risk trader is the single biggest saving you can make.
If you'd rather pay once and keep a higher split, the Classic QueenBee reaches 90%, but you have to pass NewBee and WorkerBee first.
Trading rules in practice
Drawdown and the daily reset
Every limit is balance-based and static. FundedHive's FAQ adds that you can hit a balance-based limit through floating losses as well as closed ones, so an open losing trade still counts. The daily limit resets at 00:00 UTC, which is 8pm in New York during US daylight saving time and 7pm in winter.
Phase changes and newly passed accounts are issued automatically at 00:00 UTC, not the moment you hit the target.
The A-book/B-book switch
This is the rule that decides whether a funded account pays. Funded accounts start on A-book, with your trades mirrored in real markets. Then:
- If the account drops more than 1% below its starting balance, all positions are force-closed and the account moves to B-book (demo).
- Profits made on B-book can't be withdrawn.
- Once the balance is back at the starting balance, you click "Activate A-Book". The balance resets to the start, and any real (A-book) loss stays on record as negative A-book PnL.
- New A-book profit must cover that loss before any withdrawal.
Example, $100,000 funded account. You lose $1,100. Positions close and you're switched to B-book. You trade back to $100,000 on demo, reactivate, and now need $1,100 of new A-book profit before you're back to zero, plus any unpaid funded fee before a payout. The annexes also tie a cumulative A-book loss limit to the daily limit, and reaching it is a breach.
In practice, your working drawdown on a funded account is about 1%, not 10%.
The system also closes positions automatically once floating profit is enough to cover an outstanding fee or A-book loss, so a winning trade can be closed early without warning.
Leverage and fees
Leverage is dynamic and falls as your total exposure grows. On PFP accounts:
| Total exposure | FX majors | Gold exposure | Gold |
|---|---|---|---|
| Up to $100,000 | 1:50 | Up to $300,000 | 1:30 |
| Up to $200,000 | 1:30 | Up to $600,000 | 1:20 |
| Up to $300,000 | 1:15 | Up to $900,000 | 1:5 |
| Up to $400,000 | 1:10 | Up to $1,200,000 | 1:2 |
| Up to $500,000 | 1:5 | Up to $1,500,000 | 1:1 |
Index leverage is shown in cTrader. Classic WorkerBee and QueenBee accounts start at 1:100 and 1:200 on FX.
Spreads are raw and swaps are zero. Commission is $15 per $1 million traded per side, which FundedHive rounds to $3 per standard lot round trip. Five lots in and out cost $15. Ten round trips of five lots a day cost $150, which is 3% of a $5,000 daily limit on a $100,000 account.
News, weekends and holding time
News trading is allowed on every account. The one news ban is "bracketing": placing buy and sell stops either side of the price just before a high-impact release.
Overnight holding is free of swaps. Weekend holding is where the documents split (see the table below). Plan to be flat by the Friday close.
The annexes say there's no minimum holding time, but the terms ban tick scalping and anything that trips the anti-high-frequency rules.
EAs, copy trading and hedging
Expert advisors are allowed unless they're high-frequency bots or exploit glitches. Accounts are netting, so you can't hold a long and short on the same symbol, and hedging across accounts or "hedge arbitrage" is banned.
Copy trading between funded accounts is banned even if you own them all. If one funded account has a position open on an asset, none of your other funded accounts (or any on the same IP or network) may open a trade on that asset until it's closed.
Slippage, Black Swan and inactivity
On challenge accounts, slippage up to 10% of a realized loss is treated as normal, and FundedHive credits back negative slippage beyond that, up to 50% of the loss. That doesn't apply to funded accounts. FundedHive can also declare a "Black Swan Event" and void the trades made during it. An account that stays inactive for three months can be terminated.
Consistency and minimum days
There's no consistency rule on any account, and no minimum days once funded. Challenges need 3 profitable days per phase at 1% or more each.
How payouts work
Payouts are on demand, 24/7, claimed from a smart contract to your linked MetaMask wallet in USDC on Ethereum (ERC-20). FundedHive says they complete in about 60 seconds, subject to blockchain conditions. You pay the Ethereum gas, which the terms put at roughly $1 to $2.
- Minimum: $50.
- Daily cap: $1,000 per ERC-20 address on PFP and Classic accounts, and $2,000 on InstantGrowth. It resets at 00:00 UTC.
- Several accounts: accounts sharing one payout address share one $1,000 cap. Give each account its own address inside the same MetaMask wallet.
- Open trades: you can't request a payout with positions open, and trading is re-enabled at the next 00:00 UTC.
- What's paid: only positive A-book profit, after the 80% split and any funded fee or A-book debt.
Example. On a $100,000 Low-risk PFP account, you make $6,000 of A-book profit. Your 80% share is $4,800, the first $1,000 covers the funded fee, and $3,800 is left. At $1,000 a day, that takes four days to withdraw.
Fee refund. When you pass, FundedHive credits 200% of your access fee in Hive Coins, its utility token. Hive Coins can cover at most 50% of a new challenge's price and can't be withdrawn. The funded fee isn't refunded. Cash refunds are only considered if the account never traded, finished with positive A-book profit, or failed because of a verified technical fault on FundedHive's side.
Scaling. PFP accounts have no scaling plan. InstantGrowth is FundedHive's scaling product.
The documents disagree on several points:
| Topic | Annexes and homepage | Elsewhere in FundedHive's documents |
|---|---|---|
| Weekend holding | Allowed in challenges, not on funded accounts | Clause 7.2.3: no weekend positions for anyone. Web3 guide: weekend holding offered |
| Copy trading | Annexes: allowed in challenges, not funded | Funding-models page and Web3 guide: not allowed |
| Holding time | No minimum holding time | Terms: tick scalping banned |
| Funded fee on $100,000 | Terms: 1% to 3% ($1,000 to $3,000) | Website: from $999 |
| InstantGrowth upgrade fee | Annex 2.1: 2% of the new balance ($400 for $20,000) | Homepage: $449 for level 2, $899 for level 3 |
| Payout denial | Homepage: promises no payout denials | Terms: trades can be voided, and profits clawed back or withheld |
Where they conflict, follow the stricter version.
Who can sign up
FundedHive doesn't publish a restricted-country list. The terms require that you're not resident somewhere that bans the service and not on a sanctions list, citing the UN Security Council list and the UAE's list, and they ban getting around geographic restrictions. Nothing we read addresses US residents directly.
You need a MetaMask wallet you control. The Web3 user guide has you buy challenges with ETH and add $15 to $30 for gas. The homepage also shows card, Apple Pay, Google Pay and PayPal logos, and the FAQ says card purchases still carry a gas fee because every purchase runs on-chain.
On KYC: wallet-only "Web3 Anonym" accounts don't need identity checks, but the terms say fiat payments require a regular KYC account, and FundedHive can ask for documents at any time and terminate if you don't provide them within 7 days. Anonym accounts are limited to one per person, device, household or network.
Reputation
FundedHive's Trustpilot profile was renamed "Under Competitor Attack" when we checked on 28 October 2026. Trustpilot shows no TrustScore and a warning: "This company's rating is unavailable due to a breach of our guidelines." It also says it has removed a number of fake reviews for the company. The profile holds 134 reviews (87 in the last 12 months): 60% five-star, 9% four-star, under 1% three-star, 2% two-star and 28% one-star. The company's own profile text says it is under a coordinated attack by fake reviewers. Trustpilot doesn't verify that claim. See the Trustpilot page.
Positive reviews mostly praise payouts landing within seconds, the on-chain transparency, and rules without consistency or trailing drawdown. Negative reviews mostly describe the A-book/B-book switch, having to earn back losses and fee debt before the next payout, tight risk-group limits, the $1,000 daily cap, and slow support.
In a Finance Magnates interview on 2 May 2026, Heinfart estimated that fewer than 10% of FundedHive's traders stay eligible across multiple payout cycles. We found no regulator actions and no complaint reports on FundedHive in Finance Magnates, FX News Group or FinanceFeeds.
FundedHive's transparency page lists purchases and payouts with Ethereum transaction hashes, and on 26 and 27 October 2026 it showed several $1,000 payouts, the daily cap. The homepage counter showed 102,131 challenges sold and 10,283 passed, about 10%.
One clause to know: the terms ask you to raise complaints with FundedHive before posting them publicly, and reserve the right to take legal action over public posts.

Mistakes to avoid at FundedHive
- Trading the challenge loosely. No stop loss or a 2% loss on one trade can push you into a pricier risk group. Set a stop within 20 seconds of every entry and risk under 1% per trade.
- Treating 10% as your funded drawdown. A 1% dip below the start moves you to B-book. Size so a bad day stays under 1%.
- Sharing one payout address. Several accounts on one address share a single $1,000 daily cap.
- Holding over the weekend. Clause 7.2.3 bans it for everyone. Close by Friday.
- Trading the same asset on two funded accounts. The second account may not open that asset until the first is flat.
- Missing a deadline. You have 14 days after phase 1 to pay for phase 2, and 14 days after passing to activate the funded account.
Before you buy: checklist
- Set up a dedicated MetaMask wallet and keep some ETH for gas.
- Read Annex 2 (risk groups) and Annex 3 (A-book/B-book) of the terms.
- Decide to trade the challenge to Low-risk standards: stop loss on every trade, 1% max per trade, 2% max per day.
- Work out the full cost: access fee plus a 1% to 3% funded fee.
- Plan one ERC-20 address per funded account.
- Confirm your country isn't restricted before you pay.
- Use code SCOUT at checkout. See our FundedHive coupon page for how to apply it.
Our verdict
FundedHive is an unusual prop firm with a clear pitch: cheap access fees, no consistency rule, static drawdown, and payouts claimed from a smart contract in seconds. For a disciplined trader who uses tight stops and keeps losses small, the PFP 2-Step at $0.99 per $1K is a low-cost way to try for funding.
The catches are big, and they sit in the annexes rather than the headline table. You pay a funded fee after passing, a 1% drop on the funded account switches you to demo, real losses must be earned back before the next payout, and withdrawals are capped at $1,000 a day per address. Add a Trustpilot profile with its rating hidden, and we'd only buy after reading the full terms and starting small.

Reported payout problems
October 2026 · Trustpilot reviews
Traders reported that funded accounts must first recover earlier losses and account fees (the A-Book recovery target) before profits can be paid out: at least 4 one-star Trustpilot reviews dated 12 Aug to 18 Oct 2026 describe this. FundedHive's Trustpilot banner says it believes it is the target of a coordinated competitor campaign.

Worth knowing: Trustpilot hides its rating after removing fake reviews; recent 1-star reviews criticise the loss-recovery rule before payouts rather than report denied payouts.

If a funded account drops more than 1% below its starting balance, it's moved to demo execution where profits can't be withdrawn. You recover to the starting balance, reactivate A-book, and must earn back the real loss before your next payout.
What leverage does FundedHive offer?+
PFP accounts get up to 1:50 on FX and 1:30 on gold, falling as total exposure grows. Classic WorkerBee and QueenBee accounts start at 1:100 and 1:200 on FX.
Does FundedHive allow news trading?+
Yes, on every account. Placing buy and sell stops either side of the price just before a high-impact release is banned.
Can I hold trades over the weekend?+
Not on funded accounts, and clause 7.2.3 of the terms bans weekend positions in challenges too, even though the annexes allow them. Close everything by the Friday close.
Do I need KYC at FundedHive?+
Wallet-only Web3 accounts don't need identity checks. Paying in fiat requires KYC, and FundedHive can request documents at any time.
When does the daily loss limit reset?+
At 00:00 UTC every day.
