About BrightFunded

BrightFunded is a forex prop firm founded in 2023, based in United Arab Emirates. It sells 3 programs — 1-Step Challenge, 2-Step Bright and 2-Step Classic — with accounts from $5K to $200K and prices from €47. You trade on MT5, cTrader and DXtrade. Funded traders keep up to 100% of profits, paid every 2 weeks by crypto and bank transfer.

Our verdict

“Suits traders who want simple CFD evaluations without a consistency rule and can live with a news restriction on funded accounts. Trustpilot's warning about removed fake reviews means its public rating cannot be relied on.”

What we like

  • Three CFD plans with no time limit and no consistency rule.
  • Rules for each plan, including legacy accounts, are published in a public help center.
  • Payouts are processed by the finance team within 1 day of a request, per the help center.
  • Copy trading between your own accounts and EAs are allowed.

Watch out for

  • On funded accounts, trading in a 10-minute window around major news removes the trade's profit.
  • First payout is available 30 days after the first funded trade; the default split is 80%.
  • The 1-Step plan uses a real-time trailing drawdown (6%) until equity is up 6%.

Full BrightFunded review

17 min read · Updated Oct 28, 2026

BrightFunded is a Dubai-based prop firm, running since 2023, that sells forex and CFD evaluations on MT5, cTrader and DXtrade. You trade currency pairs, metals, indices, commodities and crypto CFDs on a simulated account, with up to 1:100 leverage on forex. It sells three models: a 1-Step, a 2-Step Bright and a 2-Step Classic, all with no time limit and no consistency rule.

The pitch is generous on paper: 15% of your evaluation profit added to a later funded account, a scaling plan with no cap, and a 100% split once you've scaled three times. The catch is in the timing and the price. You pay in euros, the default split is 80%, and your first payout comes 30 days after your first funded trade. The 1-Step uses a drawdown that trails your equity in real time. This review covers all of it, with dollar examples.

The short version

  • Best for: patient forex traders who hold positions for days, want a static drawdown on a 2-step, and don't need cash in the first month.
  • Not for: traders who want fast or on-demand payouts, US traders who want MT5 or cTrader, and anyone who trades the news on a funded account.
  • Biggest strength: flexible rules. No consistency rule, weekend holding, EAs and copy trading between your own accounts are all allowed.
  • Biggest risk: the 1-Step's trailing drawdown, which moves up with open profit during the day, plus a 30-day wait for your first payout.
  • Our score: 3.4 out of 5. Solid on payouts and track record, middling on rules (no news trading on funded accounts), and held back by price: its cheapest funding per $1,000 is cheaper than or equal to only 27% of the forex firms we track.

Who runs BrightFunded

BrightFunded says it was established in 2023. Its terms and conditions name the provider as Bright Global FZCO, located at Dubai Digital Park, Dubai Silicon Oasis, in the United Arab Emirates. The terms are governed by UAE law, and disputes go exclusively to the competent court in Dubai, while keeping any mandatory consumer protections from your home country.

The website footer adds more entities. It says the CFD simulated trading services are "offered solely by BrightFunded Ltd.", a company incorporated in Saint Lucia (registration number 2025-00358). It also lists BrightFunded LLC in Wyoming, which runs the futures products, and Bright Transact Ltd. in Cyprus. So the terms and the footer name different contracting companies for the same CFD service. If a dispute ever matters to you, ask support in writing which entity you're contracting with.

All accounts are demo accounts with simulated funds. Oddly, BrightFunded's commission article says it "strives to copy" funded traders' trades to its own live accounts, which is why it charges commission. That doesn't change anything for you: your payouts come from BrightFunded, not from a live trading account in your name.

The rulebook lives in a public help center with a separate article for each rule. Several of those articles disagree with each other, which we cover below.

Programs and prices

Prices below are list prices from BrightFunded's product pages, checked on 28 October 2026. BrightFunded prices challenges in euros, while account sizes are in dollars. When we checked, a Halloween promotion was showing 30% off; we've used the full list price.

1-Step

One phase, the fastest route to a funded account, and the strictest drawdown.

  • Profit target: 10%.
  • Daily loss: 3% of the starting balance, measured from the higher of your balance or equity at the start of each day.
  • Max loss: 6%, trailing your highest equity in real time. It stops trailing once equity reaches 6% above your starting balance.
  • Minimum trading days: 5 (a paid add-on removes this).
  • No time limit. Split 80% by default, 90% with an add-on.
AccountPriceTargetDaily lossMax loss
$5,000€49$500$150$300
$10,000€97$1,000$300$600
$25,000€197$2,500$750$1,500
$50,000€297$5,000$1,500$3,000
$100,000€497$10,000$3,000$6,000
$200,000€997$20,000$6,000$12,000

Worked example, $50,000 1-Step. Your floor starts at $47,000. Each day you can't fall more than $1,500 below the higher of your balance or equity at rollover. You pass at $55,000. The floor follows your highest equity, not just closed trades: if an open trade floats you up to $52,000, the floor jumps to $49,000 at that moment, even if the trade later reverses. Once equity touches $53,000, the floor locks at $50,000 for good. This is a true trailing drawdown, and it's the reason many traders struggle with this plan.

2-Step Bright

BrightFunded calls this its "best value" plan. Two phases with lower targets and a static floor.

  • Phase 1: 8% target.
  • Phase 2: 5% target.
  • Daily loss: 4%, measured the same way as the 1-Step.
  • Max loss: 8%, static from your starting balance.
  • Minimum 5 trading days. No time limit. Split 80% by default, 90% with an add-on.
AccountPricePhase 1 targetPhase 2 targetDaily lossMax loss
$5,000€47$400$250$200$400
$10,000€87$800$500$400$800
$25,000€187$2,000$1,250$1,000$2,000
$50,000€277$4,000$2,500$2,000$4,000
$100,000€477$8,000$5,000$4,000$8,000
$200,000€947$16,000$10,000$8,000$16,000

The Phase 2 target is the one number BrightFunded can't agree on. The plan card on its CFD overview page says 4%, while the 2-Step Bright product page and the help center both say 5%. Plan for 5%.

Worked example, $100,000 2-Step Bright. Your floor is $92,000 and never moves. You can lose up to $4,000 in a day. Phase 1 ends when you reach $108,000. Phase 2 needs another 5%, so $5,000. That's $13,000 of evaluation profit in total, which matters for the bonus below.

2-Step Classic

The traditional two-step with the most room, and the highest first target.

  • Phase 1: 10% target.
  • Phase 2: 5% target.
  • Daily loss: 5%. Max loss: 10%, static.
  • Minimum 5 trading days. No time limit. Split 80% by default, 90% with an add-on.
AccountPricePhase 1 targetPhase 2 targetDaily lossMax loss
$5,000€49$500$250$250$500
$10,000€97$1,000$500$500$1,000
$25,000€197$2,500$1,250$1,250$2,500
$50,000€297$5,000$2,500$2,500$5,000
$100,000€497$10,000$5,000$5,000$10,000
$200,000€997$20,000$10,000$10,000$20,000

Worked example, $50,000 2-Step Classic. Floor fixed at $45,000. Daily room $2,500. Phase 1 target $55,000, then $2,500 more in Phase 2. With $5,000 of total room against a $5,000 first target, the ratio is 1:1, the same as the 2-Step Bright, but with a wider 5% daily limit.

The 15% evaluation profit reward

On paid challenges, BrightFunded adds 15% of your evaluation profit to a later funded account. Here's how its help center says it works: you reach at least 10% growth on your funded account, take that payout, and BrightFunded issues a new funded account whose starting balance includes the bonus. You then withdraw the bonus with your next payout. You must contact support to have it applied.

On the $100,000 2-Step Bright above, $13,000 of evaluation profit gives a $1,950 bonus, so your next funded account would start at $101,950. Two articles disagree on one detail: one says you can combine growth across several funded accounts to reach 10%, the other says only within the same linked chain of accounts. Assume the stricter version.

Which BrightFunded plan should you pick?

For most traders, the 2-Step Bright is the best fit. It's the cheapest at every size, its targets are lower than the Classic's, and the 8% static floor is far easier to manage than the 1-Step's trailing limit.

Choose the 2-Step Classic if you want the most room. The 10% static floor and 5% daily limit give you space for wider stops, and it costs the same as the 1-Step.

Choose the 1-Step only if you take profits quickly and rarely let a winner run back. Because the floor trails open equity in real time, a trade that floats up and then reverses can breach you even if it never closes in profit.

On cost per $1,000 of funding, the cheapest option is the $200,000 2-Step Bright at about €4.74 per $1K (€947), roughly $5.28 in dollars. The $100,000 2-Step Bright is close behind at €4.77 per $1K. The small accounts are poor value: a $5,000 1-Step costs €9.80 per $1K, more than double.

Trading rules in practice

Drawdown and the daily reset

The daily limit is a fixed dollar amount based on your starting balance, subtracted from the higher of your balance or equity at rollover. Example from BrightFunded's own article: on a $100,000 1-Step, if you end the day with a trade floating $2,000 in profit, your equity is $102,000 and your next-day floor is $99,000.

The daily loss resets between 11:30pm and 11:59pm CET, during the forex rollover. BrightFunded warns that spreads widen sharply around then, so avoid having tight stops sitting in the market at that time.

The two 2-Step plans use a static drawdown. The 1-Step's is trailing. Here BrightFunded's own pages conflict. The general FAQ says its drawdown style is an "EOD high-watermark", the highest balance or equity at the end of the day. The 1-Step article says the trailing limit updates in real time, every time equity makes a new high during the day. The 1-Step article is more specific and stricter, so plan around it.

Leverage and fees

AssetLeverageCommission
Forex1:100$3 per lot
Gold and commodities1:400.0010% of volume
Indices1:20None
Crypto1:50.024% of volume (0.012% per side)

Leverage is the same on challenges and funded accounts. The forex commission article doesn't say whether $3 is per side or per round trip, so check it on your first trade.

Crypto is the easiest to price. A $100,000 Bitcoin position costs $12 to open and $12 to close, $24 in total. At full 1:5 leverage on a $100,000 account, that's a $500,000 position and $120 per round trip, 4% of the 1-Step's $3,000 daily limit on one trade.

Swaps apply on positions held overnight unless you buy the Swap-Free add-on.

News, weekends and overnight

You can trade news freely in Phase 1 and Phase 2. On a funded account, you can't open or close trades, or have stops, take-profits or pending orders fill, from 5 minutes before to 5 minutes after a major release on affected instruments.

It's a soft breach: you keep the account, but profit from the trade is deducted, and losses aren't refunded. One useful exception for swing traders: a take-profit that fills in the window doesn't count if the trade was opened at least 48 hours before the news.

Overnight and weekend holding are allowed on every plan. BrightFunded warns that weekend gaps can hit your limits.

EAs, copy trading and hedging

  • EAs are allowed. Third-party EAs may be used by other traders too, and automated trading isn't supported on DXtrade.
  • Copy trading is allowed only between accounts in your own name, including accounts at other firms or brokers.
  • Hedging inside one account is allowed. Opposite positions on the same instrument across accounts, platforms or other prop firms are banned. The first cross-account case is a soft breach with all trades closed, if it involved a single trade; any repeat is a hard breach.

Consistency rule

BrightFunded doesn't enforce a consistency rule on any plan, and its FAQ says there's no profit cap per payout cycle.

Prohibited strategies and limits

BrightFunded bans tick scalping, grid trading, arbitrage, high-frequency trading, exploiting price-feed delays and "account rolling" (dumping a failing account to start fresh). Its prohibited strategies page also flags overleveraging, heavy exposure to correlated pairs and averaging down into losers as risk abuse. There's no minimum holding time, but it advises against closing many trades in very short periods.

You can buy as many challenges as you like, but funded capital is capped at $400,000 per trader. Extra passed accounts are put on hold until one is breached.

Minimum activity

Every account, including Phase 1, Phase 2 and funded, must place a trade at least once every 30 calendar days, and that trade must stay open for at least 60 seconds. Pending orders don't count. Miss it and the account is deactivated; you then have to ask support to reactivate it, and after 6 months it can be marked as a hard breach.

How payouts work

  • First payout: 30 days after your first trade on the funded account.
  • After that: every 14 days by default. A paid add-on moves you to every 7 days.
  • Split: 80% by default, 90% with a paid add-on, rising through the scaling plan to 100%.
  • Minimum: none. BrightFunded says you can request with even $0.01 of profit.
  • Before requesting: close all trades and pending orders.
  • Methods: bank transfer (paid in euros) or crypto (USDC on ERC-20).
  • Processing: within a maximum of 1 day by BrightFunded's finance team. The website advertises "24-Hour Guaranteed Payouts".

Here's what each BrightFunded document says on the points where they don't match:

Fee refund. The help center says you get a refund if you haven't placed a trade and bought within the last 30 days, processed within 48 hours and arriving in 3 to 10 business days. The terms give consumers a 14-day right to withdraw that ends as soon as you place a demo trade. Otherwise, the fee comes back only if you bought the 100% Challenge Fee Refund add-on, and then it's paid with your first funded payout.

Identity checks. KYC through SumSub happens after you pass the final phase. Then the risk team runs a security check that takes 1 to 2 business days, or up to 4 at busy times, before your contract and funded account arrive automatically.

Scaling. BrightFunded's scaling plan reviews each funded account over four consecutive months. To get a 30% balance increase, you need profit in at least two of the four months, at least 10% total profit over the period, at least two payouts, and a balance at breakeven or better at the time. The first scale-up raises the split to 90%, the second keeps it at 90%, and from the third you keep 100%. There's no stated cap.

To put that in numbers: a $100,000 funded account that passes its first review grows to $130,000. Reaching the 100% split takes three successful four-month reviews, so at least 12 months of consistent trading. Funded capital is still capped at $400,000 per trader in total.

Who can sign up

BrightFunded doesn't accept residents or nationals of Cuba, Iran, North Korea, Pakistan, Syria and Vietnam. Traders from Pakistan who already have an active account can keep trading.

US traders can sign up but can't use MT5 or cTrader, which leaves DXtrade. Residents of the UAE can't use MT5 either. KYC is required for everyone before a funded account is issued.

Reputation

On Trustpilot, BrightFunded's rating is currently hidden. When we checked on 28 October 2026, the profile said the rating "is unavailable due to a breach of our guidelines", with a notice that Trustpilot had removed a number of fake reviews. The profile shows 574 reviews, 214 of them in the last 12 months, with 71% five-star and 20% one-star. The company writes its own profile description and had replied publicly to many of the recent negative reviews; Trustpilot didn't show a reply rate. See the Trustpilot page.

Positive reviewers mention the lack of a consistency rule and quick payouts. Recent negative reviews describe KYC checks taking more than a week, an affiliate commission held for extra review, a stop-loss on gold filling beyond its level and breaching the account, and accounts closed after the risk team alleged coordinated trading. One reviewer called the 1-Step's trailing drawdown too tight, and BrightFunded's reply confirmed that it trails your highest equity, including open profit.

On payout volume, the website says BrightFunded has paid "$13M+" in rewards, while a company reply on Trustpilot dated 19 October 2026 says more than $16 million. Neither figure is independently checked.

In the news, FX News Group reported on 9 April 2025 that BrightFunded added cTrader, and Finance Magnates reported on 23 June 2026 that it had announced Revolut as a payment partner. We found no regulator actions against BrightFunded.

Mistakes to avoid at BrightFunded

  1. Letting a 1-Step winner run back. The floor follows your highest equity in real time. If a trade floats $3,000 up on a $100,000 1-Step, your floor rises $3,000 with it, closed or not.
  2. Holding tight stops through rollover. The daily loss resets between 11:30pm and 11:59pm CET, when spreads widen. BrightFunded's own FAQ warns about it.
  3. Forgetting the 30-day activity rule. An account you haven't traded for 30 days, including a fresh Phase 1, gets deactivated.
  4. Trading news on a funded account. Profits in the 10-minute window are deducted, but losses stay.
  5. Running the same trades in opposite directions on two accounts. That's cross-account hedging. You get one warning, and only if it was a single trade.
  6. Forgetting to claim the 15% bonus. BrightFunded says you must contact support to have it applied.

Before you buy: checklist

  • Remember the price is in euros, and check what your card charges for currency conversion.
  • Choose a 2-Step if you're not certain you can manage a trailing equity drawdown.
  • If you're in the US, confirm you're happy trading on DXtrade.
  • Decide whether you need the weekly payout, 90% split, refund or swap-free add-ons before checkout.
  • Plan your cash flow around a first payout at least 30 days after your first funded trade.
  • Read the news trading and hedging articles in full.
  • Use code SCOUT at checkout. See our BrightFunded coupon page for how to apply it.

Our verdict

BrightFunded suits forex traders who want a straightforward two-step with a static floor, no consistency rule and freedom to hold over weekends. The 2-Step Bright is the strongest plan, and the scaling plan with a 100% split is a real reward for traders who stay consistent for a year.

The price and pace are the drawbacks. You pay more per $1,000 than at most forex firms we track, you wait 30 days for the first payout and 14 days between payouts without an add-on, and the 1-Step's real-time trailing drawdown is harsh. Add contradictory help articles and a Trustpilot rating hidden for a guidelines breach, and the sensible approach is a mid-sized 2-Step first, with your rules screenshotted on the day you buy.

BrightFunded FAQ

Is BrightFunded legit?+

BrightFunded has operated since 2023 (3 years). Its rules, prices and payout terms are published on its own website, which we checked on Oct 28, 2026. Trustpilot shows no score for it (checked Oct 28, 2026). We found no reported payout denials in the last 12 months in regulator notices, news or the firm's own announcements. Things to watch: Trustpilot shows a guideline-breach warning and hides the TrustScore; Trustpilot reviewers report risk-limit cuts and account terminations after passing; the firm disputes them. No one can guarantee future payouts, so start with a smaller account and read the full terms before you buy.

What is BrightFunded's profit split?+

Up to 100% on 1-Step Challenge, 2-Step Bright and 2-Step Classic. Some firms reach the top split only after several payouts or with a paid add-on, so check the plan's terms.

Payouts are every 2 weeks. The first payout can be requested after 30 days. Methods: Crypto and Bank transfer.

Which countries can't join BrightFunded?+

News trading is not allowed, EAs and bots are allowed, and holding over the weekend is allowed. Rules can differ by plan, so read the plan's terms.

Is there a BrightFunded coupon code?+

Yes. Enter SCOUT at BrightFunded's checkout; the checkout shows your final price before you pay.

Does BrightFunded refund the challenge fee?+

Only in two cases: you haven't traded and bought within the last 30 days, or you paid for the 100% Challenge Fee Refund add-on, which pays the fee back with your first funded payout.

How long do BrightFunded payouts take?+

BrightFunded says its finance team processes payouts within 1 day. Your first payout is available 30 days after your first funded trade, then every 14 days, or every 7 with the weekly add-on.

What leverage does BrightFunded offer?+

1:100 on forex, 1:40 on gold and commodities, 1:20 on indices and 1:5 on crypto, on both challenges and funded accounts.

Yes during the challenge. On funded accounts, trades executed from 5 minutes before to 5 minutes after major news have their profit deducted, unless a take-profit hits on a trade opened at least 48 hours earlier.

Does BrightFunded have a consistency rule?+

No. BrightFunded doesn't enforce a consistency rule on any plan.

When does the daily loss reset?+

Between 11:30pm and 11:59pm CET, during the forex rollover.

Is there a time limit or minimum days?+

There's no time limit. Each plan needs at least 5 trading days unless you buy the no-minimum-days add-on, and every account must trade at least once every 30 days.

Can US traders use BrightFunded?+

Yes, but MT5 and cTrader aren't available to US residents, so US traders use DXtrade.

What is the BrightFunded 15% evaluation reward?+

15% of the profit you made in the evaluation is added to a new funded account after you reach 10% growth and take a payout. On a $100,000 2-Step Bright that's $1,950, and you have to ask support to apply it.
