Glossary · End-of-day drawdown

What is end-of-day drawdown?

A trailing loss limit that only moves with your closing balance, not during the day.

End-of-day (EOD) trailing drawdown recalculates the floor once a day, from your end-of-day balance. Swings during the session don't move it.

It's friendlier than intraday trailing because an open trade going your way and then coming back doesn't cost you room.
