Your profit split matters, but so does how the money actually reaches you. The payout method affects how fast you're paid, what it costs and whether you can receive it at all where you live.
The common methods
- Crypto (usually USDT or USDC). Often the fastest — minutes to hours once approved. You'll need a wallet, and converting to your local currency may cost a fee.
- Rise. A payroll platform many firms use. It can pay out in fiat to your bank or in crypto, and handles contractor paperwork.
- Bank transfer. Straight to your bank account. Slower, and international transfers can carry fees from both banks.
- Deel and Plane. Contractor payment platforms that pay to your bank or wallet, popular with firms that treat traders as contractors.
- Wise. A low-fee way to receive money in many currencies.
- PayPal and Skrill. Offered by a few firms; availability depends on your country.
What to check
- Does it work in your country? Not every method is available everywhere — check before you buy.
- Fees on both ends. The firm may cover its side, but your bank or exchange may still charge.
- Minimum payout. Some firms set a minimum withdrawal amount.
- Tax paperwork. Contractor platforms may ask for tax forms. Keep records of every payout.
Speed isn't only the method
How fast you're paid also depends on the firm's payout schedule and how long it takes to approve a request. A firm with on-demand payouts by bank transfer can still pay faster than a monthly firm paying in crypto.
