Glossary · Activation fee

What is an activation fee?

A one-time fee to switch on your funded account after you pass.

Some firms, especially futures firms with cheap monthly evaluations, charge a second fee when you pass to activate the funded account.

Add it to the evaluation price when comparing costs.

Example

A $99/month evaluation plus a $149 activation fee costs at least $248 to get funded.
