Glossary · Simulated account
What is a simulated account?
An account that mirrors real prices but doesn't place trades in the real market.
Most retail prop firm accounts, both evaluations and funded ones, are simulated. Your payouts are real money, paid by the firm.
This is why firms care about execution-related rules and prohibited strategies.
