What is an expert advisor?
An automated trading program, usually on MetaTrader.
EAs, bots and algorithms place trades for you. Many firms allow them but ban specific strategies such as latency arbitrage or high-frequency scalping.
If you run a bot that thousands of other traders also use, some firms may flag it as copied trading.
